WOLFSBURG, GERMANY – Volkswagen shared details on its new four-door CC, which the automaker said will receive major updates for MY-2013.


WOLFSBURG, GERMANY – Volkswagen shared details on its new four-door CC, which the automaker said will receive major updates for MY-2013. The company said the 2013 CC will go on sale in the spring of 2012 in the U.S.
The company said it plans to present an updated version of the vehicle at the LA Auto Show. The vehicle will feature new front and rear styling, and an extended range of standard equipment that includes Bi-Xenon headlights with an Adaptive Front Lighting System and LED taillights.
VW hasn't shared whether there will be any powertrain changes on the 2013-MY edition of the CC or significant changes beyond styling and standard equipment.

The current 2012-MY CC Four Motion V-6 model features a 3.6L VR6, 24V, FSI engine. The CC 2.0T features a 2.0L inline four-cylinder, 16V, turbocharged/intercooled, TSI engine. The automatic Four Motion version of the CC gets 17 city, 25 highway mpg. The automatic version of the CC 2.0T gets 22 city, 31 highway.
