More Than 50 Vehicle Debuts Slated for the LA Auto Show
LOS ANGELES, CA – At the LA Auto Show, Nov. 16 -27, will feature debuts of more than 50 vehicles. More than 20 vehicles on display will get better than 40 mpg.
LOS ANGELES, CA – At the LA Auto Show, Nov. 16 -27, will feature debuts of more than 50 vehicles, according to a news release from the event’s organizers. This year improved fuel efficiency will be one of the featured characteristics of the vehicles debuting. More than 20 vehicles being shown at the event will get better than 40 mpg.
Some examples of vehicle debuts featuring fuel-efficient technology include the Chevrolet Spark, the new version of the Ford Escape, the new Mazda CX-5, and the Honda CR-V. In terms electric vehicles, the Ford Focus Electric, Nissan LEAF, Mitsubishi’s i, Honda’s Fit EV, BMW’s new i3 Concept, CODA’s Sedan, and an import from Croatia called the DOK-ING XD, will be on display.

For hybrids, Toyota will have its new Prius Plug-in Hybrid, Honda will have its Civic Hybrid and Insight at the show, and BMW will have its i8 hybrid there.
Event organizers said they expect new technology developments from Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Volkswagen, and others. New technology to look for at the event includes advanced applications of Bluetooth, radar sensors, embedded telephony, and cloud computing. In use, these systems give drivers hands-free access to personal data, communications, audio entertainment, social networking, and advanced safety features.
