Volkswagen Recalls 2015 Jettas for Headlights
Dealers will update the headlight control module software to resolve the problem.

Volkswagen is recalling approximately 50,000 2015 model-year Jetta vehicles because a software glitch may cause the low-beam headlights to turn off when the high-beam lights are activated.
As a result, the Jetta’s light output may not comply with federal safety standards. To fix the problem, dealers will update the headlight control module software, Volkswagen said. There will be no charge for this service.
Volkswagen said it is unaware of any accidents or injuries related to the headlight problem.
The recall is expected to get under way in January, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Jetta owners can reach Volkswagen customer service at (800) 893-5298. The automaker’s number for this recall is 57F6.
