Volkswagen Expands Fleet Team

HERNDON, VA - In an effort to provide a higher level of service to its commercial account customers, Volkswagen Group of America has appointed three new fleet account managers to join its fleet team.

HERNDON, VA - In an effort to provide a higher level of service to its commercial account customers, Volkswagen (VW) Group of America has appointed three new fleet account managers to join the VW team: Caroline Costello, Lorraine Heinicke, and Patrick Saint-Pierre. 

Caroline Costello has more than 12 years of sales and marketing experience in the wholesale automotive industry with both Volkswagen and General Motors. Her past work experience includes assignments in customer care, warranty administration, fleet and certified pre-owned sales. She will be working in the Central Region, and be based in Detroit. Territories include Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, North & South Dakota, West Virginia, and western Pennsylvania.

Lorraine Heinicke also has an extensive sales and service background in the wholesale automotive Industry. She has worked in a number of customer sales and service roles in various regional and zone offices for General Motors.  Most recently she was fleet account executive-Service in the northeast. She will be responsible for VW's Eastern Region and will be based out of eastern New York. Territories include Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, and eastern Pennsylvania.

Patrick Saint-Pierre has been with Volkswagen of America since 1996 and has worked in a wide range of roles in our corporate office as well as in our regional sales offices. His work experience includes roles in product development, parts sales, vehicle distribution and public relations in both the US and Canada.  Patrick will be responsible for the Southern Region and will be based out of Atlanta. Territories include Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma.

The new fleet account managers will be responsible for commercial vehicle sales in their respective regions. In their new roles, they will serve as the primary Volkswagen sales and service interface with commercial account customers. They will also work closely with the VW fleet team in Herndon, Va., to coordinate with fleet management and leasing companies to ensure customer needs are met. 

The Western Region will continue to be managed from Volkswagen's corporate office in Virginia until a qualified candidate is identified. Territories include New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming,Idaho, Montana, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Martin Kiel will remain responsible for Washington D.C., Virginia, and Maryland.
