Verizon Connect Partners with Ford Pro Data to Offer Reveal
Verizon Connect and Ford have worked together on telematics since 2011, and now Verizon Connect Reveal is available to SMB customers with connected Fords.

Fleets interested in Verizon Connect Reveal can take advantage of the new “Getting Started” portal as soon as they log into Reveal, which enables them to enter their VINs and select the recommended Ford built-in telematics.

Verizon Connect and Ford have worked together on telematics since 2011, and now, for the first time, Verizon Connect Reveal is available to small-to-medium-sized business (SMB) customers with connected Fords.
According to Verizon Connect, an easily accessible, fully integrated fleet management solution that helps small-to-medium-sized businesses focus on safety, efficiency, and productivity is the foundation of the new Verizon Connect Reveal solution powered by Ford Pro Data Services for Ford connected vehicles.
Verizon Connect Reveal is a comprehensive fleet management software solution that helps customers make more informed decisions based on near real-time data related to a business’ vehicles, people and the work they do in the field. Based on data from Reveal, fleet managers can view the location, vehicle health, driver behavior, compliance status such as hours of service, vehicle inspections, and more, all from a single login and platform.
"This is a super exciting time for Verizon Connect. This partnership will benefit mixed fleets, regardless of vehicle OEM, make, or model year," Amin Amini, who leads the global solutions engineering team at Verizon Connect, told Work Truck Editors. "We like to think of it like the chiropractor of the industry, reducing the neck swivel having to look at multiple screens. Think about waking up with no insight into your fleet in the morning, and with the push of a button having complete visibility in your operation."
Fleets interested in Verizon Connect Reveal can take advantage of the new “Getting Started” portal as soon as they log into Reveal, which enables them to enter their VINs and select the recommended Ford built-in telematics. According to the company, this saves time, reduces the need for additional calls to discuss hardware, and allows fleets to get up and running more quickly. There is no additional hardware or equipment required for Ford vehicles with built-in modems, and because the hardware is integrated, the likelihood of tampering is greatly reduced.
“The integration of Reveal with Ford Pro Data Services brings a whole new facet to a Reveal customer’s relationship with their Ford vehicles and one fewer thing to worry about, as no extra hardware is needed,” said Peter Mitchell, senior vice president and general manager, Verizon Connect. “Reveal gives Verizon customers peace of mind, but also helps them to make smarter, data-driven decisions that can give them a competitive edge.”
