ADRIAN, MI – A Venchurs’ converted 2012 bi-fuel powered Ford F-350 made the trek from Michigan to Las Vegas and back towing a custom-upfitted vehicle from its sister company, VWerks.
Venchurs and VWerks traveled across the country for the 2012 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas. The bi-fuel truck and upfitted Jeep Wrangler were booth vehicles at the show. The road trip, which covered nearly 4,000 miles total, was designed to address two of the biggest concerns surrounding compressed natural gas (CNG)-powered vehicles — infrastructure and loss of power.

“We understand that infrastructure and loss of power are two of the biggest concerns to those contemplating the adoption of CNG powered vehicles,” said Jeff Wyatt, CEO of Venchurs. “Through careful planning, you can drive across the country on CNG, and what is great about our bi-fuel option is that you don’t have to worry about running out of the fuel — when necessary, you can use regular gasoline and still reap immense savings.”
