U.S. Postal Service Places $8 Million Fleet Order with XATA
XATA Corporation, a provider of onboard fleet management systems for private fleet transportation, announced a major order from International Truck & Engine Corp. as part of the United States Postal Service 2004 cargo van purchase.
XATA Corporation, a provider of onboard fleet management systems for private fleet transportation, announced a major order from International Truck & Engine Corp. as part of the United States Postal Service 2004 cargo van purchase. The United States Postal Service (USPS) has exclusively specified XATA's OpCenter® onboard fleet management system in its 2004 cargo van purchase. In total, XATA has received orders from Freightliner LLC and International Truck & Engine Corp. of approximately $8 million to complete the cargo van purchase. The USPS currently operates XATA's OpCenter system on approximately 500 vehicles at over 80 sites.
