With the launch of Uber for Business on July 29, Uber's ride-hailing service now allows employees to bill their trips directly to their company.
Instead of using paper receipts for filing business travel expenses, Uber’s centralized billing system helps administrators and business owners by providing trip information, says the company.
According to Uber, employers create a business account on Uber’s website and then link the payment method choice and add employees to the account. Employees will get an email invitation to join their company's Uber account. Then employers have trip information immediately available.
In addition, Uber has started a new partnership with Concur, a business travel and expense management company. This partnership allows Uber customers to link its travel information and e-receipt to its Concur account, says Uber.
