Helen Tozer, purchasing director for LeasePlan USA, retired in June 2003, capping a 35-year fleet industry career. Tozer has worked in the purchasing department for LeasePlan USA for the past 10 years. Prior to this, Tozer worked for McCullagh Leasing, and subsequently GE Capital Fleet Services after it acquired McCullagh in 1990. According to LeasePlan, among Tozer’s accomplishments at the company was transforming the purchasing area into a virtually “paperless” environment, revamping an entire order process via technology and automation, integrating an ordering process into ePlan (LeasePlan’s e-business fleet management tool), and creating metrics for measuring all departmental processes to ensure client service quality.
