To strengthen ties between the two businesses, Stuart Ferma moves from his role as general manager of Toyota and Lexus fleet services to director, operational excellence at Kinto in the UK. Ferma has spent the last three and half years in the role and has seen record fleet sales for both brands.

Commenting on his appointment, Ferma said: “During my time in the fleet team we have grown sales and market share and moved fleet into the mainstream of our business. The support we were given has been fantastic and testament to how we work together to achieve success. I am excited to be taking up this new opportunity with Kinto.”

Returning from Kinto, where he has been on secondment for the last two and half years, is Neil Broad. During his time at Kinto, Broad was responsible for the launch of Kinto One, a full leasing service for businesses and company car drivers. Broad takes up the role of general manager One Toyota Fleet Services where he will be focused on expanding the company’s fleet service provision across financing, fleet management and mobility services.

Commenting on his new role, Broad said: "I have returned to Toyota (GB), armed with a much wider understanding of our businesses – Toyota Financial Services, Toyota Insurance Services  and Kinto – and the challenges and opportunities we face. In my new role I aim to take a lead in linking the companies together in meaningful and cross-functional ways.”

Kinto was created in 2020 after Toyota bought UK leasing and fleet management provider Inchcape Fleet Solutions. The business subsequently expanded into Europe with a Cologne, Germany, headquarters to commence European operation in spring 2021.
