Toyota is recalling 9,795 2013-2014 model-year Camry and Camry Hybrid vehicles, 2013-MY Avalon and Avalon Hybrid vehicles, and 2014-MY Corollas to replace the windshield wiper switch assembly, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.
This equipment runs the risk of short-circuiting and falls short of federal safety standards, NHTSA said. Toyota dealers will replace the windshield wiper switch assembly, free of charge. The recall is already under way.
