TomTom grew its fleet business 38 percent in 2013 to reach 330,000 connected vehicles, according to the company.

The company's Business Solutions technology managed 239,000 veicles in January of 2013. More than 27,000 clients use TomTom's fleet management service in more than 60 countries.

TomTom plans to launch its latest connected-car product by April 1. The device will plug directly into a vehicle's OBD port and requires no professional installation.
