Thrifty UAE Set to Open Outlet at Al Ghurair Centre

Thrifty Car Rental announced the launch of its 12th shopping mall location in the UAE to open later in March.

Thrifty Car Rental of UAE, a franchisee of the Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc., is set to open its 12th mall-based outlet in the UAE, according to a Feb. 28 press release.

The branch will open at Al Ghurair Center later this month.

Thrifty’s location at the outlet will provide visitors and residents with more access to car rentals with a wider choice of makes of vehicles. Thrifty added 400 new vehicles to its fleet in January with plans to add more later this year.

Thrifty Car Rental General Manager Rahul Singh said the company also plans to open at least six new outlets across the emirates this year. Thrifty UAE operates 11 other shopping mall locations throughout the emirates.
