Mazda North American Operations is recalling 173,859 2011 Mazda2 and 2010-2011 Mazda3 and Mazdaspeed3 cars to fix a seat adjuster problem, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
In these vehicles, the seat height adjustment lifter links may break or detach from the seat frame. As a result, the seat angle may incline and the driver may be unable to maintain an appropriate driving position, NHTSA said.
