SAN DIEGO - THINK EV, a Norway-based electric vehicle maker, said it will be showcasing its THINK City battery electric vehicle at the 2010 Green Fleet Conference, scheduled for Oct. 18-19.
The conference will be held at the Town and Country Resort & Convention Center in San Diego.
The THINK City (www.thinkev.com) is built on a dedicated, lightweight battery electric vehicle platform. The vehicle has an all-electric range of more than 100 miles on a single charge and a highway-capable top speed. The vehicle is now being built in Finland as a four-seater.
THINK currently has more than 1,500 electric cars on the road throughout Europe and will soon make its North America debut, the company said.
In addition to exhibits, the Green Fleet Conference offers two full days of keynote presentations, workshops, seminars and panel discussions for fleet professionals. Concurrent sessions are broken up into two tracks -- corporate and government -- to address the specific challenges facing each sector. For more information, visit www.greenfleetconference.com.
