Tesla Motors is recalling 2,666 2016 model-year Model X battery-electric SUVs so the company can replace faulty third-row seats, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported.
The vehicles at issue were manufactured from Sept. 29, 2015, to March 30 of this year. In these SUVs, the third-row seat back may move forward under load, such as during a frontal collision. This condition isn’t in compliance with federal safety standards.
