The state of Tennessee has re-started a rebate program for battery-electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids after shutting it down more than two years ago, reports Nashville Public Radio.
The rebate program was restarted after officials found $682,000 left in the fund. Starting June 15, the program will offer $2,000 for the purchase of EVs and $1,500 for the purchase of plug-in hybrids.
