IRVINE, CA – Telogis has introduced version 6.1 of its OnTrack vehicle tracking system with new features and capabilities that optimize operations and fleet performance for dramatic improvements in fuel efficiency, field personnel productivity, and customer satisfaction, the company said. Telogis OnTrack 6.1 is being deployed to all customers through Telogis' software-as-a-service model, which allows companies to benefit from product enhancements without having to upgrade the software themselves.  

The new OnTrack 6.1 provides real-time access to onboard diagnostics of individual vehicles, giving fleet managers immediate access to mpg data, fuel tank levels, and other data that support companies' fuel efficiency initiatives. Other key upgrades include routing with drive time optimization and turn-by-turn directions, two-way messaging, and advanced maintenance reports.  

Telogis customers will also benefit from OnTrack's enhanced features for managing maintenance, monitoring vehicle idling, accessing vehicle diagnostics, and integrating high-resolution satellite imagery.
