Taurus Wagon Now Available with Optional ABS; New Focus Fleet Arrays Announced

Effective with orders submitted on or after Jan. 1, 2002, ABS will be optional on the Taurus SE Wagon. Currently this feature is standard. The base price of the SE Wagon will be reduced by $600 MSRP to reflect the change in standard equipment. This applies to all fleet and retail SE Wagon arrays (940A, 950A, 500A, 501A, 505A, 506A and 507A). Customers should review the status of their SE Wagon orders to ensure consistency within their fleet. Effective Jan. 1, 2002, fleet customers may select from additional fleet-only arrays. Option content is available without migrating to a higher series. The arrays are based on LX Focus Sedan and SE Focus Wagon: LX Sedan Array 240F – Standard Equipment -- 2.0L, 4-cyl. split port induction engine -- 14” steel wheels with bolt-on cover -- Driver/passenger airbags -- AM/FM cassette/clock and 4 speakers (single CD optional) -- Front/rear floor mats -- Manual front seat height adjuster -- Split/fold-down rear with flip-up rear-seat cushion Optional Groups (currently, content only available on SE): Comfort Group – 50 A: -- Speed control -- Tilt/telescoping steering wheel -- Front map/reading lamps -- Front center armrest with storage Power Group – 60 A: -- Dual power mirrors -- Power locks -- Power windows with 1-touch down driver window SE Wagon Array 450F – Standard Equipment -- 2.0L, 4-cyl. Zetec engine -- 14” steel wheels with bolt-on cover -- Driver/passenger airbags -- AM/FM cassette/clock and 4 speakers (single CD optional) -- Front/rear floor mats -- Manual front seat height adjuster -- Split/fold-down rear with flip-up rear-seat cushion Optional Groups (currently, content only available on SE Comfort): Comfort Group – 50 A: -- Speed control -- Tilt/telescoping steering wheel -- Front map/reading lamps -- Front center armrest with storage Power Group – 60 A: -- Dual power mirrors -- Power locks -- Power windows with 1-touch -- Down driver window
