2009 SUBARU FORESTER
SANTA BARBARA, CA – ALG's 10th annual Residual Value Awards for the 2009-model year honored the vehicles in each industry segment that it predicts will retain the highest percentage of their original price after a conventional three-year lease term. ALG determines the award winners after carefully studying the competition in each segment, historical vehicle performance, and industry trends.

The Subaru Forester received the top award in the Compact Utility Vehicle Category, and the Subaru brand ranked second-highest in residual value.
"This is exciting news for Subaru of America," said Tomohiko Ikeda, chairman, president, and CEO for Subaru of America, Inc. "Winning second across the industry in terms of ALG predicted value reinforces the attributes of the Subaru brand — durability, reliability, and safety — all at a great value."
Vehicle quality, production levels relative to demand, and pricing strategies are among the key factors that affect ALG's residual value forecasts. The complete list of this year's awards can be found on www.alg.com/.
