GARDENA, CA – South Bay Auto Auction (SBAA) recently had the distinction of being named the top auto auction in the Western Region by Automotive Resources International (ARI) from January until June this year. ARI’s Western Region consists of 15 auctions.
ARI rates auctions based on a series of targets, giving a percentage score that is translated into a single digit numerical value, e.g. 93 percent to 100 percent equals 5, 85 percent to 92 percent equals 4, etc. Among the targets an auction has to meet in order to be rated is number of days until pickup, days to have CR posted in AutoIMS from pickup, days to sell, days to have the sold date posted in AutoIMS, days to receive funds, and a range of communication and administrative targets, including timely communication of pickup problems, completeness/accuracy of condition report, post-sale feedback, use of Internet channels, compliance to contracted sale fees/expenses.
