OAKVILLE, ONTARIO - Geotab, Inc. (GEOTAB) recently launched GO5, a small, plug and play, form factor device that encompasses powerful GPS vehicle tracking capabilities.
"There is no other device on the market that combines ultra-simplicity and low cost with sophisticated fleet management technology. Its compact size eliminates the need for professional installation, and the device enables, through the internet, management of vehicles, staff productivity, fuel, customer visits, routes, safety, insurance for all your vehicles," said Neil Cawse, GEOTAB's CEO.
The GO5's unique patented tracking algorithm tracks important detail better than any other and works in places with little coverage. Additionally, the built in 3D accelerometer provides analysis of accidents, harsh braking, rapid acceleration, and unsafe turns. In vehicle warnings and alerts can be activated with the creation of rules, which can be setup through MyGeotab, GEOTAB's web hosted fleet management software.
