Ship.Cars, an auto logistics technology company, has launched an AI-powered tool that automates load creation in its shipper solution called LoadMate.

LoadMate is a platform that combines an advanced transportation management system (TMS) with a proprietary load board. The new feature leverages large language model (LLM) capabilities to parse shipping orders sent via email or text, automatically generating draft loads that shippers can quickly review and approve.

“Auto transport logistics has long lagged behind other sectors in adopting digital-first processes,” said Vlad Kadurin, chief product and operations officer, in a Sept. 23 news release. “By introducing AI-driven intake automation, we’re pushing the industry toward a future where orders flow seamlessly from request to execution. This is a formidable step in offering a TMS with an Agentic AI workforce for vehicle logistics.”

The AI agent automatically extracts shipment details — such as origin, destination, VIN, shipper/consignee details, auction/receiver details, and other dispatch instructions — from unstructured messages and drafts a load, intelligently matching key details to their corresponding fields within LoadMate.

Every AI-generated load is saved as a draft and flagged as AI-generated for a human-review process before posting to ensure accuracy and user control. Users can quickly edit, adjust, or convert draft loads. Additionally, original source messages are preserved for easy reference.

Ship.Cars’s AI agent offers a few key benefits for shippers, including:

  • Increased efficiency through faster, automated intake process

  • Reduced errors by eliminating manual data entry

  • Seamless integration to fit into existing workflows

  • Complete transparency and control to ensure accuracy

This feature resolves fundamental bottlenecks of unstructured communication through different channels all with one single goal in mind: create a load fast,” said Anna Alourdas, product owner of LoadMate and Machine Learning.

Auto logistics has been slow to adopt digital processes to digitize, leaving shippers dependent on manual processes despite their interest in technology-forward AI solutions.
