Select 1 Group Acquires KT Auto Transport
This move will extend service offerings for Select 1 Transport by adding a fleet of open car haulers and expand new product delivery capability for OEMs, with a presence on the West Coast.

Select 1 Transport has been operating since 1997. The acqusition means the brand will expand further across the country.

Auto logistics and transport company Select 1 Group recently announced its purchase of KT Auto Transport, an auto hauling company that operates across the West Coast with locations in California and Washington.
This marks the first acquisition for Select 1 Group, the parent company for Select 1 Transport and S1Concepts.
“When the importance of corporate and customer service is at an all-time high, we are doing everything to build upon our reputation as one of the best transport and event logistics companies in the country,” said Gary Carlson, CEO of Select 1 Group. “This acquisition aims to make us a better company by extending our service offerings to new and existing clients for all of their auto transport and event marketing needs.”
With the acquisition of KT Auto Transport, Select 1 Transport broadens its national footprint, adds a fleet of open car haulers, and significantly expands its OEM-focused, new product delivery capability.
Select 1 Transport’s expanded offerings include full-service enclosed vehicle transport, open vehicle transport, full event logistics support, and secured climate-controlled vehicle warehousing.
The acquisition also means increased efficiency by adding to existing locations across the country, including Detroit, Phoenix, Seattle, New York, and Los Angeles. Near-future plans call for additional Dallas, Denver, and Miami locations.
“With the merging of assets and experienced personnel, we can build upon our existing offerings and create a one-stop-shop for our clients that provides them with any service they require,” added Carlson.
In 2020, the group also launched S1 Concepts, an agency solution providing marketing, training, and exhibition services.
