The 2014 Scion FR-S two-door, rear-wheel drive sports coupe has received a 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The sports coupe features the Star Safety System, which includes vehicle stability control, an anti-lock brake system, brake assist, traction control, electronic brake-force distribution and Smart Stop Technology.
The Scion FR-S 2 DR RWD drew individual 5-Star ratings for both the side and rollover crash tests. In the frontal crash test, the model drew a 4-Star rating. NHTSA based the scores on crash tests conducted in January for the agency’s New Car Assessment Program (NCAP).
