SambaSafety has hired Matthew Betz as vice president of fleet channels, where he will lead business development and partnerships between the company and fleet management companies, SambaSafety has announced.
Betz joins SambaSafety with more than 30 years of industry experience leading critical sales and business development initiatives that help organizations reduce fleet costs, increase driver productivity, and reduce the administration associated with running a fleet.
"I have always had a passion for driver safety and helping fleet organizations create transformative safety programs," Betz said. "Improving driver safety is one of the biggest challenges facing every organization today."
Betz has served on a several boards and committees for the NAFA Fleet Management Association, the Automotive Fleet Leasing Association (AFLA), and Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS). He is an instructor for the NAFA FMS series and frequent presenter at NAFA I&E.
SambaSafety offers cloud-based risk management solutions for organizations with commercial and non-commercial drivers. The company's driver risk platform, which is powered by FCRA-compliant data, provides data about driver behavior and performance.
