Ryder System Inc., announced on December 3 that it has acquired the assets of Vertex Services LLC, a provider of outsourced fuel storage tank compliance and fuel systems management services.
Ryder System Inc., announced on December 3 that it has acquired the assets of Vertex Services LLC, a provider of outsourced fuel storage tank compliance and fuel systems management services. Vertex, a 13-employee environmental services firm founded in 2001, has a customer base that includes Costco Wholesale; US Concrete, Inc.; Waste Management Inc.; and FuelQuest Inc.; in addition to Ryder. Vertex services include Fuel Management (Fuel Pro), Service Management (Service Pro), and Compliance Management (CompliancePro). FuelPro provides tank owners, fuel buyers, and fuel suppliers with a solution to manage their data and activities associated with moving, storing, or buying fuel. ServicePro provides annual testing, warranty tracking, and service event management for petroleum storage and disbursement systems. CompliancePro is a package of compliance management solutions that can be made specific to a facility’s regulatory requirements.
