@Road Debuts New MRM Solution for Transportation Industry

FREMONT, CA – @Road, Inc. a provider of mobile resource management (MRM) services, announced the launch of the @Road Solution Suite for Transportation and Distribution, a comprehensive set of bundled services and features that combines GPS tracking, route compliance, electronic driver logs, vehicle diagnostics, and more.

FREMONT, CA – @Road, Inc. a provider of mobile resource management (MRM) services, announced the launch of the @Road Solution Suite for Transportation and Distribution, a comprehensive set of bundled services and features that combines GPS tracking, route compliance, electronic driver logs, vehicle diagnostics, and more. Transportation companies can now use @Road for an enterprise-grade MRM solution to help streamline operations, improve driver productivity, and enhance customer service. The @Road Solution Suite for Transportation and Distribution is the first in a series of vertical market solutions the company plans to launch this quarter. "In response to customer demand, we created a comprehensive set of services and features specific to this vertical market,” said Leo Jolicoeur, @Road chief marketing officer. “By offering a single product with industry-applicable services, we make it easy for transportation companies to select the right MRM solution to increase productivity, reduce operations costs, improve customer service and enhance driver safety." Examples of services and features offered in the @Road Solution Suite for Transportation and Distribution include:


  • @Road GeoManager. Combines GPS, wireless communications and Internet technologies to provide a hosted, Web-based mobile resource management solution.

  • @@Road Route Compliance. Web-based maps and reports that allow companies to automate routing and dispatching, monitor route progress in real-time, and compare actual vs. planned routes.

  • @J1708/OBDII. Monitors vehicle diagnostics and sends email alerts based on driver behavior and vehicle performance.

  • @@Road Speed Radar. Reports that compare the posted speed to the actual traveled speed by company vehicles on highways and city streets.

  • @@Road Driver Logs and State Mileage Reports. Automatically records hours of service, duty status and state mileage information.

  • @@Road DirectData. Continuously delivers location-based @Road data to third-party databases and applications.

    Add-on features available for the @Road Solution Suite for Transportation and Distribution include:


  • @Road Mobile HotSpot. An in-vehicle Wi-Fi device that transforms any vehicle into a mobile hot spot.

  • Barcode Wand. Captures material, package, and other shipment information.

  • Satellite Option. Provides uninterrupted communication when vehicles are out of wireless network coverage area.

  • Switch Sensors/Temperature Sensors. Monitors temperature and electrical signals, and reports changes.

    Customers can subscribe to the @Road Solution Suite for Transportation and Distribution for $60 per month. Additional value-added services vary in price and can be added according to a company's needs.
