Government Fleet 2013 Public Sector Fleet Manager of the Year Richard Battersby will deliver the closing keynote address at the 2013 Green Fleet Conference on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 4:25 p.m.

His address, "Latest Opportunities for DOE and EPA Grants and Funding," will discuss pulling public funding from the Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency to help subsidize green fleet initiatives.
The Green Fleet Conference & Expo offers two full days of keynote presentations, workshops, seminars, and panel discussions tailored for fleet professionals who integrate an environmentally friendly component into their operations.

About Richard Battersby:
Battersby is the Director of Fleet Services at University of California, Davis and is Coordinator of the East Bay Clean Cities Coalition. He has more than 25 years in the fleet industry and has written and participated in numerous state, local and federal grant funded projects.
He is a CAFM and CPFP and currently holds more than 40 ASE certifications. Richard has a BS degree from California State University, Sacramento and is an active member in PFSA, APWA, CCFMA, and is a past Chairman and officer of the NAFA San Francisco Chapter.
