More than 50 million vehicles in the United Sates have unrepaired safety recalls, according to the National Safety Council. Fleet operators need to stay current with vehicle recalls in order to have the greatest confidence when their drivers get behind the wheel. Vehicle defects can be dangerous and pose serious safety hazards for fleet drivers.
Recently, Stellantis issued a significant recall that spans several models. Specifically, the automaker is recalling an estimated 370,437 2019-2022 Ram 2500 and 2021-2022 Dodge Durango vehicles, and 2019-2022 3500 cab chassis with GVWR less than 10,000 lbs. for an electronic stability control (ESC) light issue.
