ATLANTA – Long-time fleet veteran Ray Breault was honored with the National Association Fleet Administrators (NAFA) Outstanding Chapter Service Award at the Chapter Recognition Lunch during the organization’s Fleet Management Institute in Atlanta April 20. Breault was recognized for his 45-year dedication and service to the fleet industry as a NAFA member. He consistently makes recommendations and volunteers to complete numerous projects. Breault provides invaluable knowledge and is a mentor to many in the industry, according to award judges. “I was honored to have received this award and honored that my NAFA peers thought I deserved it,“ said Breault. He has been active in five eastern region NAFA chapters – Inter-County, New Jersey, New York, New England, and Philadelphia – and was nominated for the award by the chapter chairs of three of these chapters. Breault became involved in the New York NAFA chapter as chairperson in 1964 and served at all local chapter level positions. As a chapter officer, Breault was a member of NAFA’s national governing board where he also served in all national posts except treasurer. Most noteworthy, he was the national president of NAFA from 1977-1979. He is currently a board member for both the New Jersey and Inter-County chapters. Breault was fleet manager for Hoffmann La Roche from 1959-1977 and the fleet manager for Revlon 1978–1990. He joined Rental Concepts Inc. in 1991 as regional sales manager for the Northeast. Breault officially retired in 1996 but three months later decided to return to Fleet Response (formerly Rental Concepts) as a part time service representative in the Northeast.
