PSA Group will reveal its first semi-autonomous car this year, and plans to develop Level three autonomous vehicles after 2020.
The DS 7 Crossback SUV, which is a model under the DS premium brand of PSA group, will be the first vehicle from the automaker that will be equipped with the level-two autonomy, according to the automaker. PSA Group also said that its first fully-autonomous cars will reach market in 2020.

The DS 7 is scheduled for launch in 2018, according to AutoCar. After this, the Citroën C5 Aircross is set to arrive in the second half of 2018 after launching in China later this year.
Early driving assistance functions are already available on the latest Peugeot, Citroën and DS models, according to the automaker.
To meet the challenges of releasing the self-driving vehicles, PSA Group said it is developing a new electronic architecture that supports safe operation in all situations, and offers passenger safety and data security, as well as perception technologies that serve to better analyze the vehicle’s environment.
Groupe PSA is also actively involved in changes to regulations and standards in response to the arrival of autonomous cars, including approvals and harmonisation of infrastructure, according to the automaker.
