Propane Autogas Fueling Network Comes Online in Wash.

One of the nation's largest privately funded propane autogas refueling networks will serve Washington's public and government users when the last of 11 stations opens in July.
Blue Star Gas is funding the construction of 11 public refueling stations in the Puget Sound region that will be open around the clock. The first station came online in October 2011.
The refueling stations will serve more than 400 customer vehicles in the Pacific Northwest. These customers can gain access to the pumps via a card-reading system, which also enables users to track fuel savings and miles-per-gallon usage.
Blue Star Gas built the stations to better serve its clients, according to Darren Engle, the company's director of government relations.
"The Pacific Northwest has always been known as an environmental leader, and our clients' business models reflect that by leading the way in reducing emissions with a green, clean-burning fuel like propane autogas," Engle said.
