MT. LAUREL, NJ — Automotive Resource International (ARI) announced on January 13 the retirement of Phil Procida, vice president, International Operations. Procida began his career at ARI as a junior accountant 45 years ago and worked his way up through operations, sales, sales management, and international. According to Carl Ortell, senior vice president and chief financial officer, Procida devoted the last 14 years launching ARI’s international business capabilities. He was responsible for establishing a joint venture in Mexico and building a global fleet capability comprising of major fleet management companies such as ALD in Europe and Orix in Asia. He also managed ARI’s Diversified Fleet Services International group, which places fleet vehicles anywhere in the world. “As a direct result of Phil’s efforts, ARI and its partners now provide a true global fleet solution comprising global fleet vehicle placement and comprehensive global fleet reporting capabilities,” said Ortell.
