Monroe Truck Equipment, Inc., (MTE) located in Monroe, WI, announces the newly created Chevrolet Kodiak—GMC Topkick truck. To develop this version of the C4500/C5500, MTE worked with GM to give customers and converters a Class IV/V truck. The powertrain consists of a Duramax Diesel engine or an optional 8.1 L gas engine with an Allison transmission. According to the company, the vehicle is ideal for personal/recreational users who tow fifth wheel and gooseneck RV’s, horse trailers, race cars haulers & boats along with vocational users such as construction crews and rancher/farmers.
