Phillips Industries Relocates from Shangai to Ningbo, China
Phillips Industries, a manufacturer of advanced electrical and air brake interface equipment for the global commercial vehicle market, has expanded its manufacturing operations in China by relocating to a new facility in Ningbo.
Phillips Industries, a manufacturer of advanced electrical and air brake interface equipment for the global commercial vehicle market, has expanded its manufacturing operations in China by relocating to a new facility in Ningbo under the name of, Phillips China Auto Parts, LTD. The new location, which began operations in November, held a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony in early December.
The new business will continue fulfilling the heavy demands of Phillips products sold in the Asia Pacific markets, accoridng to the company. Phillips supplies tractor and trailer harness systems as well as other electrical and pneumatic air assemblies and connectors to their expanding customer base in this region.
"Phillips is growing globally and the Asia Pacific region is paramount to that success," said company President and COO Rob Phillips. "Our new facility supports our mission of supplying the most innovative solutions that truly make a difference for our customers, and the fleets they serve."
