PHH Arval Wins 2009 TechForum Award for Technology Innovation
SPARKS, MD - PHH won first place in the Technology Innovation category for its advanced Driver Level Ordering online tool and North American vehicle ordering platform.
SPARKS, MD - PHH Arval, a subsidiary of PHH Corporation, has won the 2009 TechForum Best Practices Award, sponsored by the Technology Managers Forum, the professional association for enterprise IT managers. PHH won first place in the Technology Innovation category for its advanced Driver Level Ordering online tool and North American vehicle ordering platform.
PHH's Driver Level Ordering tool, introduced last summer in Canada and coming to the US in 2010, is an interactive Web-based tool that provides enhanced information and capabilities to help drivers select their pre-authorized fleet vehicles. The tool provides a 360-degree view of a vehicle's exterior and interior, realistic color swatches, extensive vehicle profiles, and more. If the employer allows driver-paid options, the tool enables drivers to make secure credit card purchases. Once the vehicle is ordered, drivers and fleet managers alike can check the details and status of each order online.
In addition, the Driver Level Ordering system is based on a North American vehicle ordering platform created by PHH to promote seamless ordering across international borders. This totally new platform eliminates much of the manual, behind-the-scenes work that previously added time and effort to accurately send an order to the motor company.
David Zuidema, PHH Arval CIO, said, "We are honored to receive the TechForum Technology Innovation award. Our new Driver Level Ordering tool, based on a North American platform, is a great enhancement to productivity. It represents a remarkable breakthrough that simplifies vehicle ordering, decreases cycle time, and revolutionizes the way commercial vehicles are ordered."
The TechForum's Best Practice Awards is an annual program sponsored by Technology Managers Forum. The awards recognize quality achievements in technology management that provide a competitive advantage to the business environment.
