SPARKS, MD and MISSISSAUGA, ONT - As part of its North American service delivery strategy, PHH Arval, a subsidiary of PHH Corporation, has announced the launch of a completely new vehicle ordering system based on a common technology platform for both the United States and Canada.

Developed and implemented first in the company's Canadian operations, the new system utilizes leading-edge technology and will enable fully integrated ordering services for PHH Arval's North American clients after all phases are implemented in 2010. The innovative system dramatically reduces the time for vehicle orders to be placed with motor companies.

This North American vehicle ordering implementation follows PHH Arval's June 2009 launch of a new driver level ordering tool that breaks new ground in its approach to vehicle ordering. This state-of-the-art technology allows fleet drivers to order their pre-authorized company cars and trucks online using a simpler, visually-enhanced, information-rich system. The tool, now available in Canada, will be implemented in the US in 2010. Jim Halliday, PHH Arval senior vice president and president of PHH Canada, says, "Our clients report that the new driver level ordering capability is unique in the marketplace, easy to use and reduces the time and effort involved in ordering vehicles."

Tom Keilty, PHH Arval's chief operating officer, said, "PHH is leading the way in providing best-in-class service to our clients. The North American ordering system will have a tremendous impact on productivity and demonstrates our commitment to investing in advanced technology solutions."
