PHH Arval Joins EPA Climate Leaders Program
SPARKS, MD – By participating in Climate Leaders, PHH Arval has pledged to reduce its corporate-wide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
SPARKS, MD – PHH Arval is participating in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) Climate Leaders. By participating in Climate Leaders, PHH has pledged to reduce its corporate-wide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
Climate Leaders is an EPA industry-government partnership that works with companies to develop comprehensive climate change strategies. Partner companies commit to reducing their impact on the global environment by completing a corporate-wide inventory of GHG emissions based on a quality management system, setting aggressive reduction goals, and annually reporting their progress to EPA. Through program participation, companies create a credible record of their accomplishments and receive EPA recognition as corporate environmental leaders.
In addition to its participation in Climate Leaders, PHH Arval is active in other environmental stewardship programs. It created the most comprehensive environmental program for fleets, PHH GreenFleet, working with the Environmental Defense Fund to help companies significantly reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. This program has netted measurable results and was recently named a finalist in the American Business (Stevie) Awards. PHH Arval also offsets the emissions from its own company fleet.
