SPARKS, MD- PHH Arval, a subsidiary of PHH Corporation, has been awarded the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) for the tenth year. This is the most recent achievement in PHH's long record of ensuring that its service and collision management specialists have the highest levels of expertise to serve PHH's North American fleet management clients.

In the Vehicle Maintenance Assistance area, where technicians help clients and drivers manage every aspect of their vehicles' maintenance and repair, 100 percent of PHH technicians are ASE-certified. In addition, 56 are Master Automotive and Truck Technicians, meaning they have received at least eight certifications in specific automotive categories. And PHH also has a World Class Technician as a case manager.

In PHH's Vehicle Accident Services area, 100 percent of the collision repair specialists who review, negotiate and authorize claims are ASE-certified in collision repairs, and many are also Master Automotive Certified Specialists and Master Collision Certified Specialists. In addition, the group is I-CAR (Inter Industry Conference on Automotive Repairs) Gold certified, and all of PHH's Collision Repair Specialists have achieved individual I-Car Platinum accreditation.

PHH's technicians serve clients in both the U.S. and Canada, and the numerous certifications cover the full range of cars, trucks (light, medium and heavy-duty), and buses.

According to Arnie Barnes, director of PHH's Vehicle Maintenance area, and Eliot Bensel, director, Vehicle Accident Services, "We believe in having only the best and most professional specialists serving our clients, and these certification programs are an indication of our technical expertise. Our specialists in vehicle maintenance, repair and collision management have many years of mechanical and service management experience.
