Outstanding 'Green' Fleets to be Recognized
TORRANCE, CA - Fleet managers who excel in implementing effective environmentally responsible programs will be recognized in a special presentation at the upcoming 2009 Green Fleet Conference in Chicago.
TORRANCE, CA - Fleet managers who excel in implementing effective environmentally responsible programs will be recognized in a special presentation at the 2009 Green Fleet Conference, scheduled Oct. 19-20 in Chicago, according to conference sponsor Bobit Business Media (BBM).
Public sector and commercial fleet industry professionals are encouraged to nominate individuals who serve as leaders in developing and implementing model green programs. Self-nominations are acceptable, said organizers. Online nomination forms and additional award program details will be available soon. Stay tuned for more information.
"The Fleet Environmental Leadership Awards are designed to raise awareness of the beneficial impact of green fleet initiatives and sustainability programs. The awards will celebrate fleet leaders who have championed these programs by recognizing the excellence of their efforts to decrease their fleets' carbon footprints," said Mike Antich, Green Fleet Conference chairman. "The awards will provide a high-visibility platform to spotlight fleet leaders in public sector and corporate sustainability and to showcase their positive commitments to the environment."
