WILMINGTON, DE-The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Delaware Safety Council Inc. recently renewed its workplace safety and health alliance at a signing ceremony at the Wilmington OSHA area office, according to DelawareOnline.com.
Through the alliance, OSHA and the Delaware Safety Council will deliver training and educational programs on roadway flagging safety and defensive driving, specifically targeted to business and corporate fleet operations. Additionally, the Delaware Safety Council Inc. will work together with OSHA to provide expertise to develop workplace safety and health curricula on safe operation of material handling equipment.
Training programs will be offered on a monthly basis and are normally conducted jointly by Delaware Safety Council and OSHA personnel.
