The award will once again be bestowed at the Fleet Safety Conference, taking place Nov. 8-10 in Santa Clara, Calif. Last year, Mark Peabody, global fleet manager at 3M, won the award.

Do you know a  fleet  or risk manager whose leadership and innovation have enhanced the  safety  of  fleet  drivers, their organizations, and the public? Are you that person? Consider  nominating them — or yourself — for the annual  Fleet  Safety  Award, presented by the American Automotive Leasing Association (AALA) and  Automotive Fleet  magazine.

The annual  Fleet  Safety  Award is presented by the American Automotive Leasing Association (AALA) and  Automotive Fleet  magazine. 

Click Here  to submit a nomination for the 2023 Fleet Safety Award. 

Applicants are fleet, safety, and risk managers working with light- and medium-duty  fleets. A panel of industry leaders will evaluate the nominations to determine the winner. 

The winner, as well as two runner-ups, will be announced during a seminar at the 2023 Fleet  Safety Conference  convening in person in Santa Clara, Calif. Nov. 8-10.  Nominations end on Sept. 15, 2023.  

Previous winners include Mark Peabody, global fleet manager at 3M; Frank A. Merlock, associate director, EHS & Sustainability for AbbVie; Sharon Etherington and Katie Franssen of Roche Diagnostics; Dina Kushaliyeva, senior HSE Manager, North America, for Direct Energy; Blair Schober, U.S. Fleet, EH&S, and Telecom Manager for Red Hawk Fire & Security; Joe Rader, VP of risk services for Fisher Auto Parts; Nikith Rajendran, director of fleet operations for SolarCity; Chad Fay, vice president of Fleet & Supply Chain at Centuri Construction Group; Sandra Lee, director of worldwide fleet for Johnson & Johnson; Kristin O’Driscoll, fleet manager for Baxter Healthcare.
