Nissan Launches 'No Charge to Charge' for LEAF

Nissan will launch its "No Charge to Charge" program in 25 U.S. markets this summer to provide two years of no-cost charging with the purchase or lease of a Nissan LEAF electric vehicle, the automaker announced April 16.

Nissan is rolling out the program July 1 into markets that make up more than 80 percent of LEAF sales. The first cities to get the program include the top 10 LEAF markets, including San Francisco; Sacramento, Calif.; San Diego; Seattle; Portland, Ore.; Nashville, Tenn.; Phoenix; Dallas-Fort Worth; Houston; and Washington, D.C.

Purchasers or lessees will receive the new EZ-Charge card that gives users access to chargers with ChargePoint, Blink Network from Car Charging Group, AeroVironment, and NRG eVgo.

Nissan plans to roll out the program to 15 additional markets in 2015.
