Fred DePerez, Nissan VP, Northeast region
Fred DePerez is leaving his role as vice president of Nissan's light commercial vehicle business unit to become a regional vice president for the brand's Northeast region, Nissan has announced.
Tiago Castro will assume DePerez's duties as the director of the business unit that oversees commercial sales for Nissan at the dealer level. Castro will report to three executives, including Airton Cousseau in the U.S.; Francois Bailly at Nissan, as vice president of light commercial vehicles; and Denis Le Vot globally as senior vice president with the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance.
The moves comes as Cousseau takes on the role of senior vice president for marketing and sales for Nissan North America, starting June 1.
DePerez will not be directly replaced, said Brian Brockman, a Nissan spokesperson.
