Nissan Armada, INFINITI QX80 Recalled for Fuel Pump Problem
The impeller can swell and bind within the fuel pump module, causing it to fail.
In the event of a fuel pump failure, the vehicle’s engine may stall which increases the likelihood of a collision.

Nissan North America, Inc. is recalling an estimated 24,140 2020-2021 Nissan Armada and 2020-2021 INFINITI QX80 vehicles equipped with V8 engines for a fuel pump issue. Specifically, the impeller can swell and bind within the fuel pump module, causing it to fail.
In the event of a fuel pump failure, the vehicle’s engine may stall which increases the likelihood of a collision.
To fix the problem, dealers will replace the fuel pump module, at no cost to owners. Notification letters will be mailed to owners on or around July 20.
