Nissan announced that the 2024 Nissan Rogue features a turbocharged powertrain and several safety and technology features. The automaker said the vehicle will be on sale soon with a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $28,320.

The 2024 Nissan Rogue features a standard 1.5-liter Variable Compression Turbo (VC-Turbo) engine paired with an Xtronic CVT.

The VC-Turbo engine is rated for 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. Standard Idle Stop/Start shuts off the engine when the vehicle is stationary to help save fuel.

2024 Rogue Offers Tech, Safety Features

The 2024 Nissan Rogue is the first Nissan available with Google built-in, featuring Google Assistant, Google Maps, and more from Google Play on a 12.3-inch color touchscreen (SL, Platinum grades).

With class-exclusive Google built-in integrated into the vehicle, all these features can be used without pairing or plugging in a phone.

The automaker highlighted what Google built-in brings to the 2024 Nissan Rogue:

  • More horsepower – but not that kind: The 2024 Rogue’s 12.3-inch HD color touchscreen system has notable computing power, as engineers found it challenging to reach its limits during their testing process.

  • Speak your mind: With Google Assistant, drivers can ask questions about destinations, speak addresses in plain English, search for generic points of interest like, “car washes near me” – or even ask Google Assistant to operate certain vehicle functions, like adjusting the climate control temperature.

  • New phone? No phone with you? No problem: No matter which phone a driver has in their pocket, the Nissan team said it has most likely tested it to work with Rogue. Engineers working on infotainment systems carry two devices – one Apple and one Android. The team has a collection of nearly two dozen devices from the past three years. By signing in once to their Google account, drivers will have access to personalized traffic updates and recommendations based on their calendar. Plus, through Google Assistant, they can adjust compatible smart home devices like lights, thermostats, and appliances.

  • Always updated: Adopting Google Maps means that Rogue’s navigation directions are always up to date. Third-party apps downloaded to the infotainment system from the Play Store are updated over the air, ensuring drivers always have the latest features in their apps.

The 2024 Nissan Rogue features new front and rear fascias, a new version of Nissan’s V-motion grille, new inner taillights, and satin-finish exterior badges. The vehicle also features a new 19-inch wheel design.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard on all grades. The suite of advanced safety technologies includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, and Rear Automatic Braking.

Additional driver assistance technologies include available ProPILOT Assist, which provides steering assistance and Intelligent Cruise Control for highway driving, and available ProPILOT Assist 1.1 (SL, Platinum), which uses data from the vehicle’s navigation system to help adjust Rogue’s speed ahead of freeway interchanges and curves.

Nissan listed the MSRP for the following grades:

  • Rogue S FWD: $28,320

  • Rogue SV FWD: $30,010

  • Rogue SL FWD: $35,170

  • Rogue Platinum FWD: $38,600

  • Rogue S AWD: $29,820
