Nissan announced on Aug. 16 that the 2024 Nissan Altima is on sale with a starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $25,730.

The Nissan Altima was restyled for the 2023 model year with an updated expression of Nissan’s V-motion grille, newly standard LED headlights, new aluminum-alloy wheel designs, revised instrument panel finishings, and two new exterior paint colors.

The new midsize sedan offers advanced driver assistance technology.

Altima’s available technology includes a 12.3-inch HD color touchscreen that features Nissan door-to-door navigation system, a wireless phone charging pad, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

For 2024, available NissanConnect services now include a three-year trial (up from a six-month trial previously).

Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard on every Altima. The suite of technologies includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, high-beam assist, and rear automatic braking.

The sedan also offers ProPILOT assist, which combines steering assistance with intelligent cruise control.

Altima offers a choice of two engines. The standard 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine impresses with fuel economy ratings of up to 27 mpg city, 39 mpg highway, and 32 mpg combined for the front-wheel-drive S and SV grades, and 27 mpg city, 37 mpg highway, and 31 mpg combined for front-wheel-drive SR and SL models.

Also available is the variable compression turbo (VC-Turbo) engine, rated for 248 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque (when using 93 octane fuel).
