The National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) released its annual look at questionable insurance claims in the U.S. over the last three years. The report noted that two types of automotive insurance policies, personal automobile and commercial automobile, were in the top 10 list of questionable claims.
Questionable personal automobile insurance took the top spot, increasing from 69,219 claims in 2011 to 78,024 in 2012. Questionable commercial automobile claims took the number four spot, and increased from 3,092 in 2011 to 3,554 in 2012.
