WASHINGTON and TORRANCE, CA – Natural Gas Vehicles for America (NGVAmerica) plans to host its 2012 National NGV Conference-Summit Oct. 3-5, in conjunction with Bobit Business Media’s 2012 Green Fleet Conference, which will be held Oct. 2 - 3 in Schaumburg, Ill.
“Our fleet audience is very enthusiastic about having the NGVA join us in hosting the leading green event for fleet buyers,” said Sherb Brown, Green Fleet Conference founder and Vice President at Bobit Business Media.
Stephe Yborra, Director – Market Development at NGVAmerica, had the following to say regarding the organization’s choice of location and event.
“We’ve had a good working relationship with Bobit, and we feel the Green Fleet Conference attracts high-quality fleet managers who are interested in implementing alternative fuel vehicles, including natural gas, in their fleets” he said. “Co-locating our event at an event that many fleet managers and NGV equipment and service providers will attend anyway makes good use of their travel budgets and resources. And, by coordinating an NGV industry ‘Zone’ on the show floor, we not only demonstrate that we are a strong, viable and mature industry, we create the opportunity for B2B cross-marketing between industry suppliers.”
The Green Fleet Conference is a two-day event that is designed to give fleet professionals the information, resources, and industry connections they need to save money, increase efficiency, and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in alternative-fuel vehicle technologies.
NGVAmerica’s National NGV Conference-Summit brings together industry stakeholders, clean-air/clean-transportation policymakers, and progressive fleet managers to discuss strategies to develop a sustainable, robust NGV market utilizing America’s abundant natural gas resources while creating American jobs.
